I know I’ve done Lightning’s theme before, but I had a lot of problems with its execution. The singing and the lyrics really sounded too rebellious and rambunctious to fit with the character. Lightning’s theme is supposed to show a sort of suppressed fragile interior beneath her hard exterior, so it didn’t make sense to sing it with a lot of fight.

I changed up a few of the lyrics to make it match better, and tried to soften it up. I like it way better now! (Listen to it with headphones, though. Much, much, much nicer than shitty laptop speakers.)
